Hey Guys, the news of cMuscle being integrated into maya is really great news. I think it will make things a lot easier by being straight out the box and I personally really havent had the time to keep cgMuscle up to date, so I look forward to seeing what people come up with! Thanks for all being so patient and continuing to support the site. Even though I dont keep it updated all the time, I hope it functions as an archive of information for people interested in cg muscle systems.

hey guys...I just noticed that autodesk added cometsMuscleSystem into maya 2008...cool

Hey, I'm new here too, but I've had my eye on this place for a while, ever since I saw it mentioned in "Inspired 3D Advanced Rigging and Deformations." Anyway, I got really interested when I found that a tutorial had been made, and I'm finally at the rigging stage of one of my own characters. I've downloaded everything having to do with Maya 7.0, which is the version I have, but it doesn't remotely resemble the tutorial, and was called jsMuscle. Where can I get cgMuscle 2.0 for Maya 7?

Hey guys, I'm new here... I wasn't able to download rt_cgmuscle_tools ?

bullet Xogun on Sunday September 16, 2007 04:54 PM
Is there any problem with RT CGmuscle tools ? Cant download, im trying to mirror the muscles.

bullet pthuriot on Saturday August 04, 2007 06:36 PM
siggraph anyone?

this is probably the first year in a long time that i don't have to really "do anything" other than enjoy the courses and check out the cool new toys out there!

anyone up for drinks!?

bullet frankb on Monday July 30, 2007 06:59 PM
Yeah...It has been a while. Things are going great!
Working with James Cameron on Avatar.
Cool.. that would be great if you can compile on x64.

Thanks!
Frank

bullet judd on Friday July 27, 2007 01:47 AM
Hey Frank,

Long time... how you doing?

I dont have a 64bit machine, so it might be hard. I'll se what I can do

later!

bullet frankb on Thursday July 26, 2007 05:12 PM
Hey Judd,
How goes it!
Do you have plans to compile cgMuscle to the 64-bit version of Maya?

bullet judd on Tuesday July 17, 2007 07:12 AM
cgMuscle 2.0 for Maya 8.0 and 8.5 on windows and OSX should be downloadable in the downloads section. Please let me know if they dont work as I havent thoroughly tested them. Thanks!

bullet Lazorith on Sunday July 08, 2007 06:54 PM
Ahh good call about email. I looked all over for one. I just figured you might have had one based on the example vids you put out. But if anyone else has a skeleton modle please let me know

bullet judd on Sunday July 08, 2007 07:51 AM
btw, I wouldn't recommend posting your email address so openly, or at least use "at" instead of @ because you'll probably end up with a lot of spam... just a heads up

later!

bullet judd on Sunday July 08, 2007 07:50 AM
Actually, I dont have anything like that... although I'm sure someone here might... also try and search some 3d sites... I remember there being a free one somewhere online.

bullet Lazorith on Saturday July 07, 2007 11:25 PM
Hey Judd, I was wondering If you have a skeleton model I could use to practice with?

bullet judd on Wednesday June 20, 2007 08:21 PM
I've reposted rtMuscleTools... I'll do the rest when I get a chance.

bullet judd on Wednesday June 13, 2007 08:57 PM
yeah, I will try and relink everything tonight

bullet medwards on Tuesday June 12, 2007 05:17 PM
I dont know what happened to the downloads but the files seem to still be there. I dont really have time to look through and recreate all the links but I reposted rt_cgmuscle_tools.

bullet judd on Monday June 11, 2007 10:08 PM
Weird, the downloads section seems to have lost a whole bunch of downloads... we'll try and figure this out ASAP....

-Judd

bullet judd on Tuesday January 09, 2007 12:39 AM
There currently is no video tutorial.. the best thing would be to download the example video pasted below. If someone wanted to take the time and do a video that would be awesome.

RT Muscle tools that are posted on the site have mirroring capabilities...

How to mirror a muscle?I can't. Why?

bullet tanti2001 on Monday January 08, 2007 08:04 AM
Is there a manual for cgmuscle? or a video tutorial?

bullet SEMIRO on Wednesday November 01, 2006 04:54 PM
just wondering...what kind of math is involved in making a muscle plugin? do you have to do stuff with wierd complex equations and stuff?

bullet judd on Saturday July 08, 2006 05:59 PM
Unfortunately, my focus is the stuff I have to get done for work and then when I have free time I work on cgMuscle on the side, as we're moving further along in production the demands at work are higher now and so I'm not able to do as much on cgMuscle. I havent really touched cgSkin since the video demo release... so it's really far behind

-Judd

bullet SEMIRO on Saturday July 08, 2006 08:33 AM
hey um, any little updates on the development of the CGskin plugin?

bullet xenoid on Friday June 23, 2006 04:20 PM
